Why did you pursue writing?
To be completely honest with you, writing is not something that I really enjoy doing. My mind goes at hundred miles an hour and I have a tendency to jump from one thing to the other. On top of that, there is so much going on inside me and the urgent need to share what I have learned and experienced and the many mistakes that I’ve made, that I can sit for hours trying to make sense of my words.
What inspired your book?
The inspiration came to me through my clients; they all have their own histories, full of conflict, frustration and disappointment. So for me, there wasn’t any other way around than putting some thoughts into it and make it happen. So here I am, challenging myself with each sentence.
How long have you been publishing your work?
Probably not longer than a year; or perhaps even less. Gosh, times goes fast!!!
What’s your writing environment like?
I get a lot of hair and purr... from my two amazing male cats when I am writing at home. Sometimes, I go to coffee shops like most writers do and try to get some inspiration by looking around. It doesn’t always work out, there is always someone trying to grab your attention and sometimes I am just not in the mood to write. Well, I guess that’s how it works!!! LOL…
What projects are you currently working on?
I am doing many things at the same time, so I am in the process of finishing a mini essay and structured numerology book. In this book, I explain how our names at birth can have an impact on who we are or who we could be during our trip here on Earth. Of course, there are a lot of numbers and info but it is nicely put together to make it easier for people to follow and get something out it. The second book is about my experience dealing with my fiancé’s terminal cancer and his denials. This took place back in Europe. His death in 1994 was actually the reason why I left Spain. I am still coming to terms with the loss and the memories, and still trying to find my peace; however, it was a beautiful and sad love story with a lot of strength and courage shown by both sides.
